Fibre Optics
OMC was originally founded as a supplier and manufacturer of fibre optic components, an area still forming a large part of our core services today.
Polymer Fibre
There is no lower cost or more versatile fibre optic product than polymer fibre. OMC has pioneered the exploitation of this technology for over a decade and justifiably claims world-leading expertise.
Glass Fibre
OMC specialise in cost effective multimode optical systems for slow and medium data rates and distances up to about 5km.
Cable Assemblies
OMC manufactures a vast range of fibre optic cable assemblies using glass or polymer fibre. Custom assemblies are produced on-site, from small runs to large quantities. We have the facility to design and manufacture bespoke connectors as well as providing industry standard solutions.
Transmitter / Receiver devices
OMC also offer Tx and Rx devices to compliment our Glass and Polymer fibres. We have a wide range of housing options and also specialise in custom solutions. OMC can also offer alternatives to many obsolete devices.
